If you spent any time at the 2008 March Show you know how much fun we all had.  Thanks all around to everyone who participated and especially those who helped shoulder the burden.

Raffle and Silent Auction:  Our guests enjoyed down time at Hospitality and from all reports the space didn’t disappoint.  The room buzzed all weekend long with friends gathering to catch up on the latest and it was downright hopping Saturday night, when this photo below was taken.

Most everyone got a bargain and were winners in the Silent Auction and Raffle.  The Club sends a heart-felt THANKS to all who supported our fundraising, especially these donors to Silent Auction:

Public Awareness Seminar on Dog Law by Amber Gibson

The Club’s investment in funding Club Member Amber Gibson’s attendance at a recent Dog Law seminar paid off with her informative and well-attended presentation at Hospitality, Saturday afternoon.  Amber’s talk, photo below, focused on many aspects of how breeders and owners are increasingly finding themselves entangled in legal situations.  She will make another presentation on this topic at a meeting later this year.  Thanks again to Amber for helping the Club meet its AKC requirements for providing dog-related public education.
